Light as Air

I really like how fashion designers have turned to multi-media to project their lines. Here is a video by the French designer Vanessa Bruno entitled La bel été (The beautiful summer). Enjoy.

Living in Trenches

I LOVE the Rosalind Trench Coat dress from It's really quite brilliant for many reasons: as a tee-shirt fit dress it isn't clingy, yet (obviously) gives the illusion of a waist. Best of all, it's affordable at only $66!

Kisses and Cross Stitches

This is the title picture from the really pretty blog Kisses and Cross Stitches. I think the two girls are very pretty in a very vintage way.

Beast Chic

This is from the Topshop Unique show at London Fashion week. Honestly, I couldn't get past the animalhead-pieces and Klingon eyebrows to actually look at the clothes too much. Just trust me when I tell you this is probably the tamest of them all.

This is "Offering" by Solange Azagury-Partridge. I have officially found my wedding ring. As for a price; lets just say 'price upon request' and call it good.

Young Love

Urban Outfitters just had a couples photo contest for valentines day, this is my favorite shot:

Princess Marie

This is my favorite painting in the entire Detroit Institute of Art. It is a portrait of Princess Marie Lubomirska of Poland 1881, by Henryk Siemiradzki. The background is as amazing as the princess.

From Venice With Love

So Lauren accidentally went to Venice instead of Vienna, knowing that Venice is MY city. (yes we have assigned cities) I told her that since she went, she better bring me back a kick-butt present. So here is my hand painted Venitian mask.

Beauty Sleep

Lately, I've had a fascination with fairy tales. Maybe it is from viewing the great polyvore creations of Little Parisienne, or reading too much historical fiction. With this fascination in mind, I asked Hannah what her favorite fairytale was, after much coaxing she picked sleeping beauty, so I created Beauty Sleep. If you tell me your favorite, I'll create one for you too :)
